Newt Gingrich: "I think Ron Paul's views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American"
The former House speaker got his anger-bear on yesterday:
Newt Gingrich has finally found a politician he considers even worse than the president he calls socialist, anti-colonialist and radical. That would be his fellow Republican Ron Paul.
"I think Barack Obama is very destructive to the future of the United States. I think Ron Paul's views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American," Gingrich said Tuesday in a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer.
Could he vote for Paul? "No." If it came down to Paul vs. Obama? "You'd have a very hard choice at that point."
Substance?
"As people get to know more about Ron Paul, who disowns 10 years of his own newsletter, says he didn't really realize what was in it, had no idea what he was making money off of, had no idea that it was racist, anti-Semitic, called for the destruction of Israel, talked about a race war - all of this is a sudden shock to Ron Paul?" he asked. "There will come a morning people won't take him as a serious person." […]
Gingrich said Paul's "total record of systemic avoidance of reality" makes him unthinkable as a president. He is, Gingrich said, "a person who thinks the United States was responsible for 9/11, a person who … wrote in his newsletter that the World Trade Center bombing in 1993 might have been a CIA plot, a person who believes it doesn't matter if the Iranians have a nuclear weapon."
The Paulite reaction:
"Frustration from his floundering campaign has Newt Gingrich showing who he really is: a divisive, big-government liberal," Paul Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton said. "Newt has a long record of standing against conservatives dating back to his support for liberal Nelson Rockefeller over Barry Goldwater, so this sort of childish outburst is nothing new."
My hunch is that in order to make the newsletters a going concern during the Republican primary season (which David Weigel says it hasn't been yet, at least as measured by polls in Iowa), Paul's competitors are going to have to do like Gingrich here, and try to tie them into a broader and similarly objectionable worldview and set of active modern-day beliefs. But it's been more than four years now since front-runner Rudy Guilani and his fanclub thought they were ejecting Paul from the circle of all decent people for his "totally outside the mainstream" views on U.S. foreign policy, so I'm not that sure tying Paul's critique of anti-Iran hyperventilating to the Ron Paul Survival Report is going to do the trick, in a season when people are fed up above all with economic policy and results.
Speaking of which, here's the latest Ron Paul ad:
Reason on Gingrich here, on Paul here, and on Paul's newsletters here. Jacob Sullum took Gingrich seriously enough to declare him a "profligate authoritarian" two weeks ago, then defended Paul's foreign policy last week.

Gingrich hates him. Yet another reason to vote for Ron Paul.
Newt Gingrich: Your revolution is over, Mr. Lebowski. Condolences. The bums lost. My advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir. The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Lebowski?
[the Dude walks out and shuts the door]
Newt Gingrich: The bums will always lose!
Brandt: How was your meeting, Mr. Lebowski?
The Dude: Okay. The old man told me to take any rug in the house.
Newt Gingrich is a human paraquat.
Re: Ska,
Ouch! That's nasty!
I'm not going to lie - I had to look it up after watching the movie, but I'm glad I did.
There was an episode of Quincy where people were dying from smoking paraquat-sprayed pot, and as usual, nobody gave a crap except Quincy...
"I think Ron Paul's views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American,"
Well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Considering that his books and numerous speeches contain none of the rhetoric in those newsletters, only an irrational person would disbelieve him when he says he didn't write the shit.
That said, lots of people won't believe him.
That's because lots of people aren't gullible halfwits.
Re: Max,
That's right - they're total nitwits who voted Obama.
Like pet yorkie here.
Face it, you stupid cock sucker, you have no clever retorts.
Re: Maxipad,
Your sad totally nitwit condition does not allow you to detect my clever retorts, Max. It's really not all your fault, you know... Inbreeding does take its toll sooner rather than later.
Face it, you stupid cock sucker, you have no clever retorts.
The irony inherent in this statement is rich.
They voted for Obama...

Dr. Paul will be delighted to know that he's got a long-lost Samoan half brother.
True, he obviously didn't write them, 22 years ago, and the bad stuff was in only 1% of them, it isn't as if anyone who ever picked one up would expect that language to be there.
What I'm wondering is, since VA is now requiring a pledge of intent to vote for the ultimate nominee, in order to vote in the GOP primary, and since Gingrich, who lives in VA has publicly stated he will under no circumstance vote for Paul, whether Gingrich will now be forced to at least recant publicly before he is allowed to vote?
The USSR tried to keep the 'science' of Zionology inside of the Ukraine until the late 1960s and only told their closest fellow travelers outside of the iron curtain about it. Now the basis of this 'science' is pretty common with the Jew bashers. They substitute Zionism or Israel for Jew.
Ron Paul has been supporting Iran with rhetoric for a few years, at least back to 2007. Iran was recently implicated in the 9/11 terrorist attacks in a court of law, the manner that Ron Paul prefers. http://news.yahoo.com/u-distri.....14461.html
While supporting Iran's acts of war, Ron Paul insists that Israel cannot defend itself from a war declared on it by the Gaza Hamas government. Okay, he might say that Israel does have a right to self defense, but anything Israel does in its own defense is condemned by Ron Paul. He also crows about not getting into the internal affairs of other countries, then changes his tune when a US ally under attack is the subject.
His bizarre stance on the US Civil War is something to behold. He seems to be under the impression that the seven States that seceded before Lincoln took office would have come back into the fold if only the feds had purchased the slaves in those States. Okay, odd wording of his aside, the Congress did emancipate the slaves of DC in 1862 and they did indeed follow the Takings Clause in paying restitution to the slave owners, the only time the federal government freed any slaves in the lifetime of Lincoln.
It is questionable at best that anything short of recognizing the sovereignty of the States that chose to secede would have avoided that war. The one point Paul has right about it (maybe) is that Lincoln did not have to fire on Fort Sumter. Had Lincoln not ordered that attack, then there would have been no Civil War and the same number of slaves would have been freed in North America as at any point before the ratification of the Reconstruction Amendments.
His stuff on the federal reserve is good, it is excellent, it appears to be the only thing the man read up on since medical school.
You only need to say three words to make this a non-issue in the general election: Jeremiah Alvesta Wright.
If we can elect a President who somehow just-happened to not be in the pews every time Jeremiah Alvesta Wright made a controversial statement in his church why couldn't we elect one who SOLD his newsletter to someone else? And then AFTER it was sold the NEW OWNER published controversial articles in them?
No it's five words.
Clean, articulate African American candidate.
Don't forget his dialect.
What's crazy is that no one really seems to believe that Paul is a racist. They just like the opportunity to call him one, anyway.
The ad hominem attacks on Paul are no longer working.
People are starting to look past the "he's crazy, ignore him" and judge him by his policy.
As long as that continues his support will only rise.
Paul is a little off the reservation in some of his views, but he's our only hope at this point. I might have preferred Johnson, but he's not viable this election. Paul, somewhat surprisingly, is.
^ this. I like Johnson but he has to work on a few things. At the same time, use this experience to build a support network. If Obama gets reelected or if Romney pulls a Bush IVth term, the case for a third term candidate could not be more strong.
third party
There is another factor. For more than two decades the term "racist" has been so overused by people like Jesse Jackson et all that crying wolf has led to a situation where many people simply shrug whenever they hear someone called racist.
People who used to call others racist have been called it themselves for disagreeing with the current president's policies, and are seeing the accusation for what it is.
Everyone who criticized Obama was already called a racist.
The latest from neocon central: Ron Paul's Destructive Foreign Policy
Damn those filthy money-grubbing hook-nosed Neocons.
"Pastafarian." That's a... Jewish name, isn't it?
"Kill it, Ron! Kill it with FIRE -- !"
Oh, sorry -- was my antisemitism too thinly veiled? I'm new to the Paulbot community, and I don't know all of the codewords yet.
What do we use in place of hook-nosed? Is it "currency manipulator"?
I always use "Bilderbergers," 'cause it's easier to spell than JOOOOOOOOOOOOS.
So you're new here, eh?
Wow. What a shit head.
How the hell would Gingrich know what decent Americans feel is mainstream?
His wives told him what they think is decent and mainstream. That is his standard.
And he's had enough to represent a decent sampling size.
Just like his wives told him to have affairs and leave them?
Yes, but they tell him that BEFORE they get married to him.
There was a cancer clause.
God I'm glad to be what Gingrich considers an indecent American.
Newsflash! Katy Perry's got big tits!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvs.....-them.html
She's a fatty. You're a fatty chaser.
She is not fat. The others are anorexic. In previous eras, before the media-manufactured mania for skeletal models, Katy Perry would have been described as "healthy" and "athletic."
You're replying to an attack on those of us who prefer their women to have self discipline around a cheeseburger by a member of the local coalition of henpecked husbands who haven't the strength to enforce it.
SKINNY CHICKS ARE HOT
Yes. That was nice.
Not a fan of her music but I would totally hit that.

If only she'd get a boob job. World would be a better place.
No way. I hate fakies.
Better if she put on ten pounds or so. Might get her into a B cup at least.
Meh, I'll never get to touch them, so I wouldn't mind it purely for the eye candy.
I don't like fakies because they fuck up proportions.
I'd rather she put on a few pounds and let them fall where nature intends.
I think she's in that "no fakies" club with that girl from True Blood anyways.
MmmmMm, Sookie
Milla Jovovich is in that club and I have no problem with it.
Love me some Milla. No question about that.
Uhh...really?
Isn't she a carpet licker?
Come on, that's the least flattering photo.
That girl Jessica from that show is hotter though, I will concede.
Is Jessica the redhead? Then yes, Jessica is much hotter. A little too pale though, I suppose that goes along with the whole vampire schtick.
Thought she made a decent Rouge but since then she had ridden her bike through the ugly forest and a hit a few branches on the way.
yeah, forgot about her stint as an X-person
Thanks for the post! Enjoyed it.
Gingrich has been taken in by the liberal press that is smearing Ron Paul by quoting him verbatim.

That's what you said before. Verbatim.
I don't have anything against Paul. It's you guys I hate. If I talk about Paul, it pisses you off. That is what truly matters.
Alright, folks, step right up and play the Ron Paul Boozeletter Drinking Game!
Rules - take a drink unless otherwise indicated when:
1. A one-off poster shows up and talks about "Dr. Paul" or ends their comment with "RON PAUL 2012" or some variation, take a drink.
2. Mention of the Koch Brothers
3. Justin Raimondo shows up
4. Anyone tries to rehabilitate an incendiary quote
5. Making a "hey, look over there argument!" re: National Review or other conservative publication.
Ron Paul on Video: The Bildersbergers Are Plotting To Control The Banking System And Our Natural Resources
The more you get to know me, the fucking nuttier I become.
he was real serious there after getting prodded multiple times.
Most likely I was "prodded" into spluttering incoherently about the federal/homosexual cover-up on AIDS, as well.
Yeah. That's probably what happened, most likely.
About whats on the other end of those links?
But Paul tries to bolster his credibility on the issue by noting that his newsletters have also "laid bare the the coming race war in our big cities" as well as the "federal-homosexual coverup on AIDS," adding that "my training as a physician helps me see through this one."
You were saying, muffin...?
Fuck all you honkeys. I'm the head nigger in charge now.
Wow, Obama's a fucking racist.
Re: Clueless Hydrocephalic,
You mean there wasn't one?
Explain how that PDF in any way provides a scintilla of evidence that gays and the federal government conspired to "cover up" AIDS.
You must be deliberately ignorant, because no one is accidentally this stupid.
You got it backwards.
The rules involve people who think anyone gives a damn about the newsletters.
See Iowa and National polls. If anything, RP has gotten a newsletter bounce.
Addendum:
6. Saying "no one cares" about the newsletters while participating in yet-another 1,000 comment thread about them.
7. Any Rev Moon post
Rule considered and rejected.
Actually, its the only one so far that makes sense.
Its you anti-paulites causing all the drinking rules needed.
Here is a fun exercise for you to try: What if instead of the "Ron Paul Political Report" it was the "Romney Political Report"? Would you be willing to extend this kind of argumentation in defense of Romney?
I thought not.
Get it clear: I am not anti-Paul. I donate to him and I vote for him. That said, the only reason we aren't having a field day with the garbage that he published is that he has built extensive goodwill with us. If this were any other candidate, we would be quoting about Bohemian Grove and the Trilateral Commission and fleet-footed blacks all day every day.
Yes.
I honestly dont give a damn about the newsletters or Rev Wright or Romney's wacky mormon beliefs or Gingrichs serial marriages or Palin banging Glenn Rice.
Im not the one bringing up idiotic irrelevent bullshit over and over.
To quote 3 presidents ago: Its the economy stupid.
BS. Sorry, but I don't believe you. You would be on every thread talking about how the "Romney Political Report" isn't "really" racist and everyone should just lay off Romney?
Yeah right.
Find one post where I have ever implied or states that Romney's mormonism makes him unfit for the presidency.
You are fucking wrong.
I dont defend Romeny, because he's a fucking big government socialist. But I will criticize that aspect of him, not that he beliefs hat visions.
That is not what I am saying. What I am saying is that thousands of pages of metaphorical comment ink would not have been spilled in defense of Ron Paul of the newsletters had been titled the Romney Political Report. We all would have had days of laughter as we mocked (rightfully so!) the AIDS conspiracy theories and the invocation of the Bilderbergs. But when "our boy" does it, we crank out the Spin Machine.
Sure it would have happened. By pro-Romney guys, and they would be right to do it. Im not one, so Im not gonna waste my time.
But Im not going to create a Romney-defenders drinking game either.
If there is a website somewhere out there with a political philosophy very closely lined to Romneyism, I doubt they post anti-mormon aritcles thrice a day.
Ive spun nothing. He didnt write it, end of story.
Where is the fucking spin in that?
This is another bit of unsupported counterfactual, but Romney saying "oh hey I didn't actually you know, see any of that stuff. I just profited from it!" would receive rich, hearty laughter from all of us. Deservedly so.
Like I said, this weaksauce denials from RP are swallowed only because the man has such goodwill with this community. Anybody else and this would be rich vein to mine for months.
Bullshit yet again. You are wrong, just like CN. Just admit it.
Re: Rev. Blue Moon,
Of course! Especially if he profited from it!
Can you prove Paul profited from the newsletters? All you have to do is point out to his itemized tax returns... aaaaand
Go!
Good! Argument over.
The word "especially" means, in this context, that the mockery would be even moreso deserved IF we could demonstrate profitability, not that said mockery is not deserved if there is no profit.
Two different things.
As for the income, I trust Julian Sanchez, who had a tax document in 2008. You can look it up if you want, but given that you already conceded the argument, hey, I guess I win.
Notice also that Im REPLYING to a subthread YOU started. Without your (and your ilks) posts, these threads would have little in them.
Get it clear: I am not anti-Paul.
BS. I don't believe you. You are just here to advance the cause of statism.
See how easy it is to win an argument when you assume mind reading powers and ill intent in the minds of all other particpants?
8. Donderoooooooooooooooooooooooo
Re: Rev. Blue Moon,
6. Keep saying "the thousands of racist newsletters" without even considering that the exaggeration will wear thin in two weeks.
I am going to assume that (even though this is the epitome of hope's triumph over experience) you have a link for someone who said "thousands of racist newsletter"? I mean, you put it in quotes, and even though you make up stuff every day, I am holding out the slimmest optimism that you actually, finally have evidence for something you asserted.
Re: Rev. Blue Moon,
Quotes do not denote a text spoken or written by someone else taken verbatim only. It also denotes a surprising or questionable argument, comment or usage of a word, in an emphatic manner.
The act of repeating the term Racist Newsletters would lead a person unfamiliar with the issue to believe that all of Ron Paul's newsletters contained incendiary or racist contents, which is not the case. FEW journalists, pundits and crackpots ever bother to make the distinction between a few passages on a few newsletters, and mischaracterize the actual content of the newsletters by pointing out out-of-context sentences. The word "thousands" is many times invoked by many anti-Paul posters in many a blog or comments page.
If you felt you were being alluded, then you should make an introspection regarding your guilt.
Sorry, broken sentence: "FEW journalists, pundits and crackpots ever bother to make the distinction between a few passages on a few newsletters and the totality of the newsletters, and also [...]"
He is a medical doctor. It is just simple courtesy, not slavish adoration, to call him Dr. Paul, a title he earned. I tend to use "Dr. Paul" when speaking of his views on health care, as he is obviously qualified by firsthand experience to offer an informed opinion. If that inspires you to drink, then, by all means, down the hatch.
OK, but Obama has a JD (Juris Doctor), a terminal degree in his field, so is also entitled to use the courtesy title "Doctor". I know it's traditional to use the courtesy title for all MDs in all settings, but this has always irked me. Either we do this for all terminally-degreed candidates, regardless of what their degree is in, or none.
I agree. I only use the word when I'm speaking to one in his professional capacity. If I meet the guy on the golf course, 'loser' is the more apt honorific more often than not.
Sorry, but as a Ron Paul supporter, I have to say that referring to him as Dr. Paul rubs me the wrong way too. It strikes me as obsequious, even if it isn't intended to be.
The vanity you have that most of the people who post here are on your side, Blue Mania, is almost charming.
What a worthless fuckstain, to disparage the decency of those who haven't yet dulled their wits enough to be lockstep GOP partisans.
How kind of Newt to tell me what I should think. He's the smartest man in the room, you know.
I suspect that the Bilderbergers have gotten to Gingrich, probably by poisoning his mind with chemtrails.
I mean, what right-thinking gentile American could disagree with anything that Representative Paul has espoused?
We're hiding under your beds... and only *R*O*N* *P*A*U*L* can stop us! WOOOOOOooooooooooo!
Oh, I see: Gingrich agress with Matt Welch, Nick Gillespie, Shikha Dalmia, Dave Weigel, Julian Sanchez, and their cosmotarian ("bleeding heart libertarian") friends.

"Is that you, Tom Palmer? Nah -- Palmer is employed, seems like the "Rev. Moon" has plenty of time on his hands.", Raimondo said, failing to realize even the slightest hint of irony.
Well that bottle of Woodford I have at my desk isn't going to empty itself.
You invoked him, Rev. BM, you alky.
(But I woulda thought Raimondo cancelled his subscription a long time ago.)
I hear that if you say "Justin Raimondo" three times in your bathroom mirror in the dark, he shows up and feeds you "bad sushi"
Speaking of, do you have a favorite watering hole in Cbus by chance?
I could recommend several, but I've given up drinking.
There's a reporters' dive -- and I emphasize "dive," called the Inn Between just behind my office -- but it's close, and we're all lazy bastards.
If you want a pleasant place with a nice selection but not too fru-fru, try The Little Palace on Fourth St.
Club 185 on Livingston Ave. is also a pleasant hangout.
I used to hang at The Ringside in Pearl Alley downtown -- tiny, but a nice bar, good atmosphere. I haven't been there in a while, though.
Hey, I got engaged there.
Anyway, maybe I'll pop over to your blog and we can have a mini-reason happy hour or somesuch.

Nice blog. Nice fish-wrap you write for, too.

Fuck you Gingrich.
Notice how many anti-Paul diatribes qote Reason magazine and even the New York Times echoes the cosmotarians in worry that Paul will "discredit libertarianism." What a joke: the reality is that the supposedly evil "right-wing populist" strategy outlined by Rothbard and Rockwell worked, and worked very well. So screw you, cosmotarians, "liberal-tarians," and "bleeding heart libertarians." The debate over what strategy works is over -- and you lost.

Unfortunately Rep Paul's foreign policy ideas are just not good for our nation. He is dangerous regarding Iran and the fight on terrorism. I would love to take his domestic policy and Romney foreign policy and combine them.
So you want to stop wasting taxpayer money on Americans but want to keep on wasting taxpayer money on foreigners?
whoa. you blew my mind there!
He's dangerous because he doesn't want to drop bombs on people?
I suppose he would be safe if he wanted to nuke people?
What is romney's foreign policy?
What would you like it to be?
It changes with every update of the pandroidOS.
Awesome.
thanks mr. romniac (i've been holding onto that one for the perfect introduction)
I believe that was the point.
Yes.
Our foreign policy won't be sustainable if we suffer an economic collapse. It's clear that Congress won't solve that problem, so the only current hope is a libertarian president. Which means Paul.
The only issue right now we should be voting on is reducing government spending and scope. Even if you support maintaining the Pax Americana, we need a robust economy to continue doing that. Paul simply can't turn the U.S. back into a non-player internationally, something that I think he and most other people are well aware, so he's the only real choice.
She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom.
The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force.... --- John Quincy Adams, July 4, 1821
Todd Welch opposes George Washington and John Quincy Adams.
Good to know. I can now ignore anything you ever say.

He's too busy having his own dick sucked by his halfwith followers.

Nitwits who do not take their Thorazine usually suffer from lewd visions and bouts of masturbation. So please, use a Kleenex.
I actually agree with Max a little on this one. Then again, every politician has rabid crackpot supporters that can make the politician himself appear less credible. See: Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney (Ann Coulter specifically), Rick Santorum, Obama (Occupy Wall St.) etc.
To apply the guilt by association fallacy to Paul specifically is absurd at best.

Nothing can "make the newsletters a going concern during the Republican primary."
Conservatives who support Paul don't care; they're libertarian types who know the difference between shit-talk and policy, or they're the rare (outside the media) right-wing Nazi, already lovin' that shit before it made the news.
The conservatives who are coming to Paul now are just supporting the highest-polling not-Romney, because fuck Romney. They'll bail on Paul eventually?and not because of the goddamn newsletters, but because they won't let Paul's Nazi asshole fans fuck up their already fucked up TEAM! even worse than Romney would.
Non-conservatives voting in the GOP primaries are either "moderate" Lieberman/Hillary types who hate Paul anyway ("neocons," even), or they're lefties who love weed and hate JOOS so much they don't care what Paul thinks about anything else. These people are unshakeable assholes.
NOTHING ANYONE DOES CAN MAKE THE NEWSLETTERS MATTER TO ANYBODY WHO MATTERS
It's OK to be wrong. But you have to fucking stop.
Fine. Great.
Okay, now define 'conservative'.
Not 10 years of newsletters, Newt. Just the so-called "ugly" comments [Nick's words, not mine] that flew under his radar.
Really, Newt? That hard of a choice, between an economic fascist over a small-government fiscal conservative?
No wonder the GOP is considered the war party. The only issue that makes it hard for Newt to choose between the two is war - simply put, Newt would most likely choose Obama because he's willing to keep the policy of bombing brown people.
Yeah, Ron's the only only candidate who doesn't want to go bomb other races and he's called the racist. I don't see how they can keep referring to the "racist" newsletters. Four or six racist sentances over 10 years from three newsletters? If they're racist newsletters they're not very good at it. Same with Ron Paul. He must be the worst racist ever since he never says anything remotely rascist and his policies wouldd be a vast improvement for minorities over anyone else policies including our monority presidents.
You know, I had no idea that so-called libertarians bought into the "disparate impact" theory. Good to know.
Re: Rev. Blue Moon.
You know, I had no idea that faux libertarians bought into the theory of not directly engaging a person's points.
Good to know.
That is a direct addressing of the "point". Policies that "disparately impact" this race or that group or this gender are not ipso facto "racist" or "misogynistic". Was the war (JUST the war) by definition bigoted against Japanese because Japanese people suffered more than other groups?
But if there is a war that disparately impacted the Japanese and you were hated the Japanese, you would more likely be for that war and not against it.
I don't see how they can keep referring to the "racist" newsletters.
It's all they've got.
Persians are not brown.
I have a brown himalayan though.
They aint swedes either.
If "brown" means "skin tone darker than your typical nordic in mid winter" then yes they are.
Many think that Iranians and Afghans are Arab, which would make them brown. But they're not. They're Persians. Persians are white.
No, swedes are white. Persians are kinda olivy.
Compared to Arabs they're white.
Think of greek people. That's persian. Well, close enough.
And they ain't brown.
They also aint Irish.
I know plenty of people in KY who would probably call a greek a nigger.
Race is a bullshit construct anyway.
"They also aint Irish."
Shit, really?
Mind = blown.
We're all africans anyways.
swarthy, perhaps?
The Jacket is swarthy.
Both are, however, White. I think.
Re: sarcasmic,
Great! Let's bomb them!!
Or what was your point?
Touchy?
That ten-years-of-racism meme is all over the place. Just like Newcular Titties' dead wife. Both of which are complete, easily disproved bullshit.
Don't worry Mr. Gingrich. All of these "libertarians" (coughs, hacks up something, big coughs again) will vote for you in the general election, or whoever you tell them to vote for once Paul falls out of the race, probably somewhere around Florida or so.
Wow, great defense of Ron Paul.
Deflect away!
If Ron Paul is not the Republican nominee I might vote for the LP candidate depending on who it is - otherwise I will refrain from voting altogether. I will not give the sanction of the victim by voting for someone who wants to take away even more of our freedoms.
It is a waste of brainpower worrying about what either one of these crackpot narcissists says. Neither will ever be president.
Maybe president of some white power club.

Go suck ron puals dick, morons. You peeple are fucking retarded. I`m done coming to this wingnut sight. this is my last post.
This was actually funny. Max is a fucking moron, but this was a nice one-liner.
Re: Tony the bereft,
It's better to speculate about the crackpot narcissist with perfectly-chiseled pectorals who wrote two books - himself!
Looks like narcissism is defined by the clueless liberals according to what expediency dictates.
That narcissist has been elected president and probably will be again.
Re: Tony,
Probably, mostly by people who think like Newt, the realization of which would probably not make your little intellect shudder.
Looks like narcissism is Words are defined by the clueless liberals according to what expediency dictates.
ftfy
Right - 'decent' Americans don't care about liberty, the Constitution, or the Rule of Law. They make things far too difficult for Newt's favored crony capitalists.
If you don't support crony capitalism, you're just nutty and now, it must be said, indecent. You're not indecent, are you?
The campaign is really heating up here in Iowa. The TV is littered with campaign ads:
- Friends of Romney run ads blasting Gingrich/Perry
- Friends of Perry run ads blasting Gingrich/Romney
No one is directly running attach ads against Ron Paul, except for one Perry add attacking all the "congressmen" in the race (with pictures of Paul, Gingrich, Bachman, and Santorum). It's almost like the Perry and Romney teams are happy to let Paul take Iowa.
I'm getting robo-calls from Gingrich, Perry, and Romney. Only Paul's campaign has real live people calling me.
Neo-nazi racist assholes do show up to do the Fuhrer's work.
Are you too lazy or just too stupid to make a point relevant to the comment you respond to?
Re: kinnath,
Why can't he be both?
Go easy on max,
He's still bitter about John Edwards.
Is $400 too much for a haircut?

Go suck ron puals dick, morons. You peeple are fucking retarded. I`m done coming to this wingnut sight. this is my last post.
Say, did Newcular Titties just call me indecent?
Yes.
I take Mr. Titties comments as personal compliment actually.
To be honest, from what I've seen of his political life and have heard about his personal life, I rather consider him to be indecent.
Which is why I get a warm, fuzzy feeling all over when he calls me indecent.
You're right. I must be a paragon of virtue. Papacy, here I come!
I guess Newt assumes none of us will vote for him if he gets the nominee giving his gratuitous insult to all Paul supporters. What is he saying about us? Indecent but integrity driven?
If its Ron Paul I will vote for Ron Paul.
If its Romney I will vote for Johnson.
If its Titties, I will vote for Obama.
Like the crazy guy in The Warriors said, I like doing things like that.
Obama might actually be less progressive than Titties. Someone needs to do a comparison article.
If Ron Paul is not the Republican nominee I might vote for the LP candidate depending on who it is - otherwise I will refrain from voting altogether. I will not give the sanction of the victim by voting for someone who wants to take away even more of our freedoms.
If we can't get Paul or Johnson then we might as well get Obama. At least Obama will be done with in 4 more years. I wouldn't want 8 years of Romney or Gingrich.
Ron Fucking Paul has nicely linked libertarianism to wacko racism. Wow, that gives Reason a whole new source of donations. You have to get your hands on Ron Paul's newsletters subscibers list.
Who is this "Ron Fucking Paul" you speak of?
VIET FUCKING NAM!
Max's favorite porno would be my guess.
Poor max, all that's left of his political life is to scream in incohate rage at Ron Paul.
John Edwards is dead. No hero has risen to take his mantle. A man not fit to shine John Edward's shoes now sits on the throne that rightfully belonged to Edwards.
Whom can he project his rage at? The evil libartariansssssss.
Pity him. He was once a man, now he is a shadow. Smeagol is no more and the pitiful Gollum occupies his skull.
Nice, tarran.
Nice, tarran.
If you knew what *inchoate* meant, precious, you might also know how to spell it. It is not synonymous with *inhocerent*. Max's rage is fully formed. There's nothing inchoate about it. Thanks for the laugh, though.
Boring sockpuppet is boring. And a sockpuppet.

Go suck ron puals dick, morons. You peeple are fucking retarded. I`m done coming to this wingnut sight. this is my last post.
Newt couldn't keep his mouth shut, huh.
Now he has unnecssarily pissed off all us "indecent Americans" who are rooting for Ron Paul. It is the height of hubris for the GOP to think they can win in 2012 without Ron Paul's hard-core supporters. I won't vote for Newt or Romney now even if RP endorses them.
Yay! Another wallet, willingly surrendered to MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
17 hours out of 365 days. I don't think the GOP guard to keep your hand out of the till has been very effective at all.
Like this fat fuck knows what decent Americans think. Does cheating on your wife and having three marriages put you in the "decent Americans" club?
Has anyone else heard this shit about Dondero going to the press to bash Ron Paul?
http://news.yahoo.com/ex-aide-.....30256.html
Donderoooooo!
Re: Jacob,
Yes. He has said numerous times that Ron Paul has never ever uttered a racist remark, phrase, comment or even the use of the n-word, at least once. Instead, he says that his foreign policy would be disastrous because Paul does not want to bomb brown people and thus increase the profits of Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Boeing and Northrop.
Dondero is an angry disgruntled ex-employee who was fired from a menial low-ranking job on Ron Paul's district office staff in 2003 for habitually missing work because he was addicted to touring brothels down in Mexico.
When Ron Paul dropped the ax Dondero flipped out and started trashing his old boss as "un-libertarian" at every opportunity. Even though he brought it all on himself they spared him a public shaming at the time because Paul is too much of a gentleman to drag his ex staff through the mud. But the cretin Dondero has only taken advantage of that to fabricate a conspiracy theory that claims he "resigned" in "protest" over Ron Paul's opposition to Dumbya's wars. Sadly the lamestream media is too stupid to do any background on this guy, so they're repeating his made up story as if it were true.
You guys misunderstand. By "virtually every decent American" Newt meant the virtual avatars he meets in Second Life. They all agree with him, save for that one heckler.
http://www.businessinsider.com.....-america-3
I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to give a shit what Newt's opinion is on any subject at all, but it's just too much of a stretch.

Re: Maxipad,
Your Thorazine, Maxipad. Take your Thorazine. Nobody takes your voices in your head seriously.
Oh, and please, this time, use a Kleenex during your bouts of self-stimulation. Those stains on the carpet are not easy to clean, you know.
Gingrich is right about Ron Paul's 'reality evasion' regarding foreign policy. Too bad the exact same is true of Gingrich, except President Gingrich would spend a hell of a lot more money to avoid reality than Ron Paul.
You can't get better publicity than Newt Gingrich saying he doesn't like your politics, especially when it comes in the immediate wake of being caught in yet another lie about one of his divorces.
Well Mr. Gingrich, if my support of Ron Paul because out of all the GOP candidates, he's the only one who has the balls to tell it like is and to offer real solutions that make sense makes me indecent and out of the mainstream, I PLEAD GUILTY!!!!
Yes, Mitt. Ron Paul's ideas are "out of the mainstream." And what is that "mainstream?" In 1944, in the midst of World War II, the heroic journalist John T. Flynn wrote:
"The test of fascism is not one's rage against the Italian and German war lords. The test is how many of the essential principles of fascism do you accept and to what extent are you prepared to apply those fascist ideas to American social and economic life? When you can put your finger on the men or the groups that urge for America the debt-supported state, the autarchial corporative state, the state bent on the socialization of investment and the bureaucratic government of industry and society, the establishment of the institution of militarism as the great glamorous public-works project of the nation and the institution of imperialism under which it proposes to regulate and rule the world and, along with this, proposes to alter the forms of our government to approach as closely as possible the unrestrained, absolute government. Then you will know you have located the authentic fascist."
We have become exactly what our fathers and mothers in uniform then gave their lives to oppose. The establishment's approved and sanctified political spectrum -- stretching from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama -- advocates fascism. The same special interest predatory elites that supported Mussolini and Hitler now support this "friendly fascism" of the welfare-warfare state.
Ron Paul advocates freedom, peace, and competitive free enterprise ? not tyranny, militarism, and bailout/subsidies for the Wall Street corporate elites preying on the poor and middle classes.
