Why does Fox News make people knickers twist in their pants so?

        1. WWNGD   14 years ago

Because they are not as trustworthy as MSNBC or CNN, so you need to make up sarcastic names about them to show your level of maturity.

          1. BigT   14 years ago

Except Fox is more neutral than most:

" Consistent with many conservative critics, CBS Evening News and the New York Times received a score far left of center.  Outlets such as the Washington Post, USA Today, NPR's Morning Edition, NBC's Nightly News and ABC's World News Tonight were moderately left.  The most centrist outlets (but still left-leaning) by our measure were the Newshour with Jim Lehrer, CNN's NewsNight with Aaron Brown, and ABC's Good Morning America.  Fox News' Special Report, while right of center, was closer to the center than any of the three major networks' evening news broadcasts.  All of our findings refer strictly to the news stories of the outlets.  That is, we omitted editorials, book reviews, and letters to the editor from our sample."

Is Andy Dick's belt buckle stapled to his navel? No wonder mustachioed Ed Asner looks pissed. Blonde Sofia Coppola should just back away.

  13. free2booze   14 years ago

That's something that hasn't been talked about, but needs to be discussed. When these kids do their financial aid paperwork, they need to provide mommy and daddy's financial information to apply for the loan. Obviously the parents weren't sitting down with their little brats, and suggesting that maybe borrowing tens of thousands of dollars, to attend the most expensive school, isn't such a hot idea.

Financially illiterate parent advises financially illiterate, retarded child. What could go wrong?

    1. Parents   14 years ago

It seemed like a good idea until junior graduated and started living on our spare couch.

    2. Apatheist   14 years ago

You don't have to. Maybe it is just for grad schools but when I got my subsidized loans for law school I didn't give them any of my parents information.

      1. free2booze   14 years ago

Your parents info is required, unless you qualify as an independent student. Once you turn 24, you are considered independent, or if you are married, a veteran of the military, or you are a baby-momma, or baby-daddy.

      2. Bucky   14 years ago

can you say subprime college loans...

  14. sarcasmic   14 years ago

    I can't think of a funny comment.
But neither could Bok, so I don't feel bad about it.

  15. $6M RoboTorso   14 years ago

Has anyone had the bad manners to tell these kids that if the only significant financial decision they ever made was taking $100,000 in loans for a Lesbian Peace Studies degree, maybe they should acknowledge they are idiots and STFU about economic matters?

Contrary to the propaganda being put out by the money-junkies and their pet presstitutes, the Occupy movement are not "commies."

            They are not Marxists.
They are not "Drugged out Hippies."
            They are not lazy.
They do not "hate the rich."

            The Occupy movement are men.
            They are women.
            They are gays.
            They are straights.
            They are Black.
            They are White.
            They are Red.
            They are Yellow.
            They are Brown.

            They are old.

            They are you.
            And they are me.
