Busting the Bank

Artist Alex Schaefer says he is painting burning banks to symbolize the destruction he believes banks have caused to the American economy. Apparently, the Los Angeles police don't share his view of the economic harm banks have caused. He says police officers have twice grilled him on the series of paintings, demanding to know if he plans on burning down any banks.
