Order in the Court
During a rape trial in Detroit, the accuser says she became upset with a defense attorney, whom she believed was badgering her and insinuating that she brought the beating and rape upon her self. She snapped "Just get to the point, bitch." Judge Vanessa Bradley found the woman in contempt and jailed her. The woman was briefly held in a holding cell next to the accused rapist, who she says threatened her. Three days later, after local media reported what had happened, Bradley freed the woman.
