Edge of the Knife

A judge tossed out charges of carrying an illegal knife against John Copeland. New York City police had busted Copeland after they saw him carrying a pocket knife, which he uses in his work. Officers claimed the knife was a gravity knife, which can be opened with a flick of the wrist and is illegal in the city. But Copeland says the knife was a regular pocket knife.
