I made it as far as the dancing. Does it ever get good?

    1. Kristen   14 years ago

I made it aboutr :10 into the dancing. And no, it does not get good for at least 10 seconds after the dancing starts.

  3. Concerned Citizen   14 years ago

So the Left hates this guy, but loves Julian Assange. They are consistently inconsistent.

    1. Gregory Smith   14 years ago

That's because Julian Assange hates America. The left is very self-hating, I think they would like America if it was a foreign country to them.

Let's see, one one hand we have an elusive globetrotter that bangs hot Swedish women and runs a highly controversial website from a secret bunker and on the other we have some dork that dresses up like a nine year old's idea of what a pimp looks like and makes painful to watch YouTube videos. You're absolutely right, it must be all that America hatin' that accounts for the bias.

        1. Ballchinian   14 years ago

Which hot Swedish women is Assange banging? The only conquest of his that I'm aware of is some three-legged bridge troll of a feminist scold.

    2. TrickyVic   14 years ago

And the right likes this guy and hates Julian Assange.

      1. Gregory Smith   14 years ago

No, FAIR MINDED PEOPLE hate Assange, he is a thief, no different than the guy who rents a DVD, copies it, and sells it for a profit.

        1. NL   14 years ago

Government secrets aren't inventory held for sale or rent to the public.

There OUGHT to be some sort of remuneration or reward for those who effectively expose government secrets (setting aside the question of whether some secrets are wrong to expose). Since governments tend to get revenge on whistleblowers (Bradley Manning) it's a good thing that there might be real cash rewards to whistleblowing, in addition to some inchoate sense of righteous satisfaction.

In fact, the federal government PAYS whistleblowers (see: qui tam cases) who expose fraud committed against the government by paying a portion of the savings to the whistleblower. The difference is that the governments thinks its own secrets, schemes and conspiracies aren't worth exposing.

      2. CrackertyAssCracker   14 years ago

I like em both. They are both contrarian bastards like me, but the have the gumption to actually do something about it besides bitch on the internet.

        1. John   14 years ago

If Reason had any balls they would have been doing the stuff O'Keefe pulled years ago.

          1. Les   14 years ago

But then they would look like dishonest, incompetent, petty douche bags, too. Probably not a good idea.

            1. John   14 years ago

No they wouldn't. They would only look that way to dishonest incompetant douche bags who project. Like you.

            2. John   14 years ago

Yeah not a good idea to discredit leftist organizations on the government tit. Why would anyone want to do that?

          2. Rock Action   14 years ago

And then people would hold their nose every time you mentioned the name reason instead of having to at least consider the arguments being made. It's an political opinion periodical, not an investigative "gotcha" journo rag.

Dude's a right-wing political day job version of Merry Pranksterism synthesized with Michael Moore and other assorted activists. The goals of the two are entirely different, I think.

          3. joshua corning   14 years ago

If Reason had any balls they would have been doing the stuff O'Keefe pulled years ago.

Fuck that bullshit. O'Keefe has a real talent at what he does second to none.

Simply because O'Keefe is brilliant at playing the game of gotcha does not mean what Nick and reason.tv is bad.

            Apples and oranges.

    3. joshua corning   14 years ago

I love them both...and Reason's staff hates them both.

      What does it all mean?????

  4. X   14 years ago

    that's genius.

this kid has saved taxpayers billions of dollars. who else can say that?

    1. Ska   14 years ago

I'm guessing the answer to this one isn't Hitler.

      1. X   14 years ago

well no, it's not serious journalism like maccaca and journolist, but what is?

  5. NL   14 years ago

I like that the guy and his types exist. Not that I expect I'll agree with him on agenda or even on methods, but that he's out there fucking things up, not following the expected political and social norms, and generally upsetting the balance of a political system that is otherwise super-insulated and shamelessly hypocritical.

Not really sure why he made this video. Very self-promoting and lots of inside references that people who only casually follow the news may not get. I assume this was made for mostly personal reasons, not to really influence anybody. Maybe just a big 'fuck you' to traditional media.

    1. Atanarjuat   14 years ago

Not really sure why he made this video. Very self-promoting

He's an ugly mofo, and fame is the ultimate aphrodisiac.

      1. John   14 years ago

It must be. Ulgly or no, the chick he stung ACORN with is fucking hot. We should all do well to be such dorks.

        1. Les   14 years ago

          Money buys pretty women. Impressive!

          1. John   14 years ago

            Who said O'Keefe had money?

            1. Corporate Drone   14 years ago

              Damn you, Koch brothers!!!1!

      2. John   14 years ago

Has more hotness and pure nerdy goodness ever been in the same picture?

  6. joshua corning   14 years ago

Thank you, good night and be sure to tip your waitress.
