I just read that Radley Balko is going to the Huff. Post, that is a perfect fit for RB and his writing will be valued there. He will join an all-star line-up of objective writers such as Alec Balwin and his long time mentor Andrew Sullivan.
They look real.

weird my reply is gone
Robert Wright has a hard-on for "security council authorization."
Because I don't follow the news very well, I need a little help confirming a story a heard on Lawrence O'Donnell tonight. In it, LOD said that Senators (including Rand Paul) had voted in support of a Senate resolution demanding that the UN Security Council defend the people of Libya. It supposedly happened in early March. Is this true?
True. http://voices.washingtonpost.c.....ution.html
Not entirely true. As for "demanding the UN defend the citizens of Libya" it only goes so far as to state that it supports the UN should it at some point (bearing in mind this was passed 3/1, a full three weeks before the NFZ was in effect) deem a NFZ necessary, the Senate.
What it does not say/authorize/support is the use of US troops/money/weaponry to provide said NFZ. That is one that has never been submitted to Congress, as it theoretically should.
Matt needs to go on there and discuss how to get a little color to his skin. He looks pasty.
It sound great~,i think this article is pretty good~lol, but there is more awesome in here:http://www.topbagclub.com
