Hell Can't Be Worse Than the DMV
Amber Yust went to a state Department of Motor Vehicles office in San Francisco to change the gender on her license to female from male. A few days later, the transgender woman got a letter from the DMV employee who handled her paperwork, warning her that homosexual acts are a sin. Later, she received a DVD from a church warning her that homosexuals would be damned. Yust, who has filed a damages claim with the state, says that same DMV employee had refused to register another transgender person's sex change in 2009, telling her "God will send you to hell."
