Lindsey Burke is a policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation, who has written widely about the need to change the incentive structure in public education to better serve kids.

Reason.tv sat down with Burke at the National Summit on Education Reform in Washington, D.C. to talk about the biggest obstacle to school choice.

It's much easier to assume your kid's school is a good one than it is to check and possibly find out it's not and then have to either move to a new district, shell out for private school or turn into a helicopter parent.

These couples didn't have children to do more work, they had them to do less work (e.g. lawn mowing). And also because of peer pressure and fear of having nothing to do but sit and stare at each other into old age. Also, faulty birth control.
