I went to Rock City this past summer. And I saw it!

This reminds me of the Three Stooges short 'Dutiful but Dumb', where the Stooges are sent to a foreign country where photography is a capital offence.

Can someone tell me why Reason people keep appearing on this program? OK it's one of those ethnic programs on those channels at the end of the cable dial. (The polish one in my area is called "Polvision", I always thought they should change it to "Pole Position".) IS the producer or something an aggressive libertarian type?

it's because alyona can't resist the Jacket. And I don't mean the guy with the handlebar mustaches.

oh, wrong show. Next time, I'll watch it before commenting. Not.

I think it's that Russia still has that taste of forbidden fruit. And libertarians, being basically teenagers at heart, love tasting that forbidden fruit...

That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.

It's because Putin is basically a libertarian at heart, and the whole oligarch/tyrant stuff is just an act. He really is a believer in liberty deep down inside.

  6. cynical   14 years ago

Because the Russian government wants America and libertarianism to become synonymous so that Russian patriotism will become synonymous with authority-worship in contrast.

  7. cleaning   11 years ago

    and record on
