    Baby = Friday Funnies.
    TSA = H&R readers.

    G'mornin, Suki! Are you okay?

    1. Almanian   14 years ago

Now ^^THIS^^ is funny! G'morning, anarch!

    2. epson   13 years ago

No doubt it is funny but with very useful fact.

  2. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

What Payne doesn't show you is Old Man 2010 getting off his plane, realizing he had his handgun with him the whole flight.

    1. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

It was in his purse. Because 2010 was gay.

      1. Fiscal Meth   14 years ago

Is the military aware that 2010 kept his handgun after they kicked him out?

  3. sage   14 years ago

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    1. Kevin Breen   14 years ago

      I know, right? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This cartoon seriously made me chuckle as so few political cartoons do.

  4. sage   14 years ago

Shouldn't he have his hand jammed down the back of that diaper?

    1. Yup   14 years ago

If he stuck his hands down the front he would confiscate the nuts.

    2. Bucky   14 years ago

      don't have kids?

    3. Fiscal Meth   14 years ago

It's not considered pedaphilia if they use the back of their hand.

      1. Bucky   14 years ago

my father used the back and i considered it abuse...

  5. JOhnny MAckson   14 years ago

            The singularity is nigh!

            1. Hey JO MA   14 years ago

Can I get your email, I really want to find out more about that p4u

          2. joshua corning   14 years ago

            no.

But 35N4P2BYY is correct the frequency is increasing. and i just did some calculations that a server farm recently built in my home town can process as much information as a human brain. In 18 month a facility half the size of the one just built will be able to do the same number of processes and a facility the same size will be two human brains...

            then another 18 month 4 brains then 8 then 16 then 32...

            The singularity is nigh!

Is this the first time that a spambot has replied to a comment?!

  6. Rather   14 years ago

Good morning. Did anyone put out an Amber alert for Suki?

    1. Sam anarch Walmart   14 years ago

      Privatize it: Code Adam.

      1. Rather   14 years ago

        description?

Oh forgot to blogwhore. I'll send rescue for Suki later

  7. Mike in PA   14 years ago

    Hey Friday Funnies are back!

    (oh, i guess not)

  8. Jen   14 years ago

Actually, I thought this one was mildly funny.

  9. Almanian   14 years ago

Well, I see by the rousing response that everyone's REALLY GLAD the Friday "Funnies" have, once again, been resurrected from the grave. Thanks, Reason!

PS Is Payne not aware that there's a Mosque of Death being built by the children of Nine Eleven Survivors? at the behest of either George Soros or the Koch Brothers in league with the Bilderbergs, the Saudi Royal Family, the ghost of Princess Died, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to celebrate Brasil and Teh Rooskies getting the World Cup of Babies' Blood?

Cause I'm pretty sure that's more topical, and probably would lead to a funnier Friday "Funny" than ANOTHER TSA article. Just sayin'...

  10. sarcasmic   14 years ago

    Didn't they stop using wands?

My understanding is that if the metal detector goes "beep" they subject the person to an intrusive pat down in order to find non-metallic explosives, as opposed to using the wand to find what set off the metal detector.

I just confused myself. If the metal detector goes off then they search for non-metallic... detecting metal is cue to look for something that is not metal... wtf?

  11. generic Brand   14 years ago

I think the bigger problem is that the baby had car/house keys that had to be put in one of the smaller bins. Who is letting a baby drive??? There should be a law against that!

    1. Fatty Bolger   14 years ago

Not keys. That's a monocle to go along with the top hat next to it. Payne gets us.

  12. Ben Dover   14 years ago

    I feel safer.

    1. safer   14 years ago

Touch my junk and I'll have you arrested.

  13. Derp   14 years ago

    I don't get the joke?
I mean, TSA is bad, etc... Is there anything else?

    1. anarch's Spark Notes   14 years ago

2011 will bring to pass many, many occurrences - in fact, it will bring to pass every single event that will take place in the entire world over the course of a whole year. Clearly, not all these events pose threats that warrant invasive searches of the type the TSA has been imposing and promises to continue systematically imposing. But the cartoon shows the whole year - ie, every event in the world - so invaded. Add to that grotesque extremism the patent innocence and vulnerability of an infant, and you portray the absurd brutality of the practice.

I'm good at explaining jokes. I find I have to do it a lot.

      1. Rather   14 years ago

Good. Can you explain FINNEGAN'S WAKE then?

        1. joshua corning   14 years ago

          explain FINNEGAN'S WAKE

The Irish drink to excess - much hilarity ensues from this fact.

          The End

  14. GroundTruth   14 years ago

Still chuckling... I think this one is going on my office door.

  15. Fiscal Meth   14 years ago

    What does the tophat represent?

    1. Paul   14 years ago

That Baby New Year is a libertarian.

    2. Paul   14 years ago

I mean, didn't you see the tiny monacle in the tray?

  16. joshua corning   14 years ago

Get government replica uggs out of education and kids will get educated or fake uggs for sale not, as their parents desire. More of them will actually become educated without government than do now with it.
