British army cadets had spent weeks practicing their drill for a Remembrance Day parade in Plymouth. But days before the event they were banned from carrying their rifles in the parade. Devon Cadet Executive Officer Maj. David Waterworth said that carrying weapons does not reflect the "aims and ethos" of the Army Cadet Force.
