I am feeling my worlds collide ... his policy recommendations (tax credits, etc.) following on the heels of his "it's important to engage markets and remove entry barriers" argument sounds just like what we've been hearing in energy technology R&D for years. It's the caveated "free markets but tax credits to correct for entry barriers" argument that I still find unpersuasive, both here and in energy technology, despite my enthusiasm for both areas of research.
