Mistaken Identity
Tiffaney Wilson says she was terrified when Universal City, Texas, police surrounded her Chevy HHR with their guns drawn and started screaming at her and her children. Police later told her it was a case of mistaken identity. They were looking for a criminal suspect who was said to be in a similar car. But Wilson says they should have known immediately they had the wrong vehicle, since she is a black woman and the person they were looking for was a white man.
