Prompt Response
The South London Healthcare Trust is one of the largest in England, but doctors say that cash shortages leave the trust unable to buy needed equipment in a timely manner. They say they often find out that items such as epidural packs, chest drain equipment, and other devices aren't available until they have patients on an operating table. They say they also often perform surgeries only to find the hospital doesn't have a bed for the patient.
