In Scotland, the retail chain HMV has removed banners reading "Anyone But England" after a police officer visited the store and told managers the banners might be seen as promoting racial hatred. Police have also visited a Scottish clothing company that makes shirts with the slogan "ABE" and warned them the shirts are also potentially racist.
