Don't Wave at the Canadians

|

Gerald and Patsy McCara were driving to a shopping trip in Nova Scotia when they spotted a young boy on a bicycle. Gerald waved at him. After they finished shopping and returned to their truck, they found a police cruiser parked behind it. Someone had seen them wave at the boy and reported it as a possible abduction attempt. Four other police vehicles eventually surrounded them. They were taken to a police station and separately questioned for almost two hours before they were released.
