You know, I've been thinking. Along with these weekly Top Five Posts posts, there should be a weekly Top Five Comments post.
That would require some sort of "thumbs up/down" rating like on Balko's personal blog.
Or the editors reading all of the comments, grouping the best, and spending a weekend ranking them.
Since they won't add "+1" or "thumbs up", it would be hard to grade them.
Crap. Refresh before commenting.
Why not just arbitrarily select five comments that the editors just happen to remember?
I think the top 5 comments would be awesome, especially if they had a special NSFW category (also known as the Sugarfree Post o' the Week).
