Stop the Noise
Police in Garland, Texas, received a noise complaint, but when the officer who was dispatched arrived at the house he thought the noise was coming from, he didn't go to the front door. Instead, he went to the back. Police say he heard a bark, a dog charged him, and the officer shot and killed the dog. That dog, which belonged to Rebecca Williams, was leashed and in the family's back yard. They say the dog couldn't have gotten to the officer, and they want to know why he didn't come to the front door. The department has defended the officer's actions.
