One More Reason to Prefer Daffy to Donald
While Disney's duck was starring in propaganda for the tax man, his counterpart from Warner Bros. was fighting the good fight against conscription.

In cartoons, Warner Brothers blows Disney out of space and time.
The Ring:
Joe Jonas: Look, we just want our concerts to be about our music and not about purity rings.
Mickey Mouse: Oh gosh, fellas, let me explain this to you one more time. You have to wear the purity rings because that's how we can sell sex to little girls, haha! See, if we make the posters with little girls reaching for your junk, then you have to wear purity rings or else the Disney Company looks bad, haha!
Bugs Nips the Nips is my favorite cartoon to be pulled from rotation.
Donald wears blue
Daffy goes Commando
Fighting the good fight against conscription? Daffy literally goes to hell for dodging the draft.
The irony, I tells ya! Disney, a Nazi sympathizer puts out that garbage, while Warner, a Jew inadvertently places himself in the company of the allegedly antisemitic America Firsters.
Speaking of superior cartoons, I highly suggest everyone here check out John Kricfalusi'S blog (he created Ren and Stimpy) for some of the most amusing and insightful thoughts on animation and culture in general. And if you can find it somewhere online, he once did an interview with some Canadian publication where he opined that the modern studio heads and corporation CEO's have no real capitalistic vision because they are all the spawn of Communist hippies and PC second wave feminist man-haters, or something to that effect.

Thay, did you hear that Mickey is divorcing Minnie? Turns out, she was fuckin' Goofy.
"One More Reason to Prefer Daffy to Donald"
But they both taste wike chicken.

Well I wouldn't say that.
Didn't Liberty once do an article praising Scrooge McDuck as a libertarian? Unfortunately, he got more pleasure out of swimming in his money than investing it. Still, the Beagle Boys were treated as crooks, and not some community organizer wealth redistributionists.
Two years I've been waiting, and you blog about my beloved Looney Tunes while I'm out of town?
You broke my heart, Walker.
I can only hope Chuck Jones is getting his bottom scorched in some cartoon hell for ruining Daffy... He took the funniest cartoon character in the business and single-handedly remolded him into the pathetically jealous and bumbling (and unfunny) bitter crank that he's been since the 50's...
old Daffy rules.

Mine is "Tin Pan Alley Cats."
In short cartoons, ProGLib. At feature length, clearly Disney dominated.
They sort of still dominate, if you count Pixar as Disney.
I agree, and it wasn't only the duck that he put into a rut. In Daffy's case, it may have been an attempt at a deeper dig at Leon Schlesinger. So we suffer for the sake of an inside joke. OK once, maybe twice, but come on!
Jones definitely did some good, and some bad; I liked it best when he had new characters (new to animation, at least) to work with, rather than putting his spin on the old.
Daffy literally goes to hell for dodging the draft.
And the draft board rep is literally the devil!
Don't you mean "taste wike chicken hawk"?
In the Babylon 5 episode "Hour of the Wolf" (s 4 ep 1), G'Kar and Zack are discussing the large picture of Daffy Duck in Giribaldi's quarters.
