Fellow Californians: Stock up with foodstuffs, water, candles, gold, silver, powder and musket balls. We have a failed state in our hands!
What the shit?! I'm sick and tired of this. I know you guys are based out of D.C., but can we get a little New York City love? Just once, one day. That's all I ask.
I'm willing to buy people drinks... and to beg...
It's because New York is a failed state, too.

Is it bad that i read Local 16 as "Lolcat 16" when i first saw it?
Hey, if you postpone it a night, i might be able to drop by. I'll be the guy with the beard and glasses.
Failed State. Redundant much?
Solana, I'd be willing to chip in for booze, if we can get a NYC version. If we can get Kerry Howley to attend, I'll pitch in half.
Right. Come on, Reason! A NYC event would be great! You know you want to... just collapse into the temptation.
As if we need more examples of gov't incompetence, Cracked.com has an article of five examples of total incompetence on 911 calls
Local 16, a more vile place I have never been.
Local 16, a more vile place I have never been.
Then you need to get out more.
Its for "Reason's magazine's summer BBQ tour! Visiting thirty major cities and events in 2009"
Sorry, spending other people's money suddenly seems so right.
"I'll be the guy with the beard and glasses."
So will everybody else.
So will everybody else.
Well, what if i have a Guy Fawkes mask and a dog-eared copy of Atlas Shrugged? Maybe i should point out to all and sundry that i work in IT?
Ok, ok, have you all gathered enough musket balls already?
Oh, and powder?
FTG, I still say .50 cal explosive rounds:

Good party. I was a bit worried about the change of venue (I really like the cave man theme of big hunt), but I was pleased that the party melded into the normal scene of the bar as the night progressed.
Thank G_d that Diva Village is back as an advertiser!
I so hate to post this and lose the ad.
