  1. There are other, better, stimulus generators on the intertoobs. I’m sure the Urkobold? can recommend some for you if you ask.

  2. One thing I have to mention. On February 6, Vice President Joe Biden said of the stimulus bill,

    “If we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, there’s still a 30 percent chance we’re going to get it wrong”

    At a press conference, President Obama took a dig at Biden over the comment, saying “I don’t remember exactly what Joe was referring to. Not surprisingly.”

    My guess is that he was referring to the academic consensus over John Maynard Keynes. Probably 30% of economists believe Keynes was wrong and that more spending will not help the economy. I would have to agree with that group, but I can’t be sure and I’m glad that at least we have a real-world experiment that puts Keynes’s theories to the test. You shouldn’t expect the President to frame the stimulus bill as an “experiment” but Biden understands what is going on.
