    Awesome.

The Neil Patrick Harris bit at the end was priceless.

  2. Andrew   17 years ago

    That was spectacular. Truly.

  3. SpongePaul   17 years ago

Great little vid, and funny as well as sadly true

  4. lunchstealer   17 years ago

My wife has a rather frustrated crush on Doogie ever since watching Doctor Horrible's Sing-along Blog.

  5. Jackson Kuhl   17 years ago

You do know what the PH in NPH stands for, right? Patrick Harris?

No. Common mistake. It actually stands for Poon Handler.

And if you like NPH singing and dancing, you should see him on Sesame Street.

  6. lunchstealer   17 years ago

Presumeably, this will only add fuel to the fire.

  7. John C. Randolph   17 years ago

Meh. Not Jack Black's best work. It's about as funny as a Janine Garafolo routine.

Ah. More deep and unfunny thoughts from Hollywood. The hand wringing, bitching and moaning about how ignorant the voters are/were is wearying. Sadly, what is funny, is how democracy never works when the vote goes against whatever the latest pet cause may be.

By the way, where was Franken?

  9. Joshua Holmes   17 years ago

    That was rad.

  10. Mister DNA   17 years ago

I'm not really 99 years old, but I watched the video anyway. Now I'm being tried in Los Angeles Federal Court for violating Funny or Die's Terms of Service.

  11. Elemenope   17 years ago

Ah. More deep and unfunny thoughts from Hollywood.

I think you spelled your name wrong, there.

    Embarrassing, I know.

  12. loupeznik   17 years ago

    That was gay

  13. James Butler   17 years ago

It is good to have A- and B-list friends with whom to do shit. A nice romp.

Hunter - Didn't you get to the part where they laid out how "the Bible says lots of stuff" that flies in the face of support for Prop. 8? Or how it also says a lot of stuff that the pro-Prop. 8 hypocrites don't accept? Nothing to be said about how democracy doesn't work ... that's you putting your view on it.

Mister DNA - That was a reaon.com thingy ... or at least it wasn't on the funnyordie.com version. You're probably safe from prosecution.

  14. Cool Cal   17 years ago

Can someone tell me about FunnyorDie. Is it truly some user generated thing, a youtube-like phenomenon where anyone can post, or is it just a forum for movie stars who already have million-dollar creative outlets to get on the internet and show how cool they are. For some reason I seem to only be pointed to the FOD sketches with Farrell, Rudd, and company.

  15. ap   17 years ago

of course the pro prop 8ers were cherry-picking the bible. it is what everyone in politics does. the anti-prop 8ers were cherry picking and distorting the meaning of history (church/state). confirmation bias is ugly and its real.

  16. Hunter   17 years ago

James: You missed the point. Never mind.

  17. Paul   17 years ago

I don't get it... which group was gay?

  18. SIV   17 years ago

It's about as funny as a Janine Garafolo routine.

I didn't watch it. Now I'm sure I made the right decision.

  19. mojorisen   17 years ago

Meh. Not Jack Black's best work. It's about as funny as a Janine Garafolo routine.

    Remember when she was cute?

  20. Mike Laursen   17 years ago

    Mine, too.

  21. Paul   17 years ago

    Remember when she was cute?

    Yeah...

  22. John C. Randolph   17 years ago

    Remember when she was cute?

Yeah, and I even remember when she was funny.

The real humor here is the attempt of gay marriage advocates to portray opposition to gay marriage as purely religious, particularly in a state that isn't exactly known of for it's religious fervor.

Anything except acknowledge that plenty of us with no religious inclinations whatever simply recognize gay marriage as a plain silly idea.

  24. Elemenope   17 years ago

Anything except acknowledge that plenty of us with no religious inclinations whatever simply recognize gay marriage as a plain silly idea.

How is it any sillier than heterosexual marriage, you know, on spec?

  25. VM   17 years ago

okay. we'll portray them as silly people who are just plain ol silly. Except for "dickhead2". he's just an asshole and a waste of air.

since they're so silly, we'll ignore them. and just let them be silly. but get the marriage legalized.

  26.   17 years ago

okay. we'll portray them as silly people who are just plain ol silly. Except for "dickhead2". he's just an asshole and a waste of air.

Unfortunately for you, an overwhelming majority of the country has already decided that you are the silly asshole and waste of air, and has, quite appropriately, decided to ignore you.

But, of course, you're so much more enlightened and sophisticated than they are, aren't you? Gee, if only the poor peasants would just acknowledge how superior you are.

    Epic. Fail.

  27. Elemenope   17 years ago

But, of course, you're so much more enlightened and sophisticated than they are, aren't you? Gee, if only the poor peasants would just acknowledge how superior you are.

So, let's be clear. Your argument is that because many people find something silly, it therefore is ridiculous and not worth anyone's time?

    Okaaaaaaay.

  28. libertarian democrat   17 years ago

Love it. Also, despite actually being different words in the bible, I still love godhatesshrimp.com

  29. SugarFree   17 years ago

    Remember when she was cute?

    No.

  30. Elemenope   17 years ago

    No.

Were you in an insulin coma in the early 90's or something?

  31. SugarFree   17 years ago

Neurotic is a bonerkiller for the The 'Free.

  32. Franklin Harris   17 years ago

Meh. Not Jack Black's best work.

Repeat after me: Except for one or two Tenacious D songs, Jack Black is not, never has been, and never will be funny.

  33. Franklin Harris   17 years ago

    Remember when she was cute?

Yeah, and I even remember when she was funny.

Was there some sort of mass delusion in the '90s?

  34.   17 years ago

So, let's be clear. Your argument is that because many people find something silly, it therefore is ridiculous and not worth anyone's time?

    Okaaaaaaay.

As Carl Sagan once said, "They laughed at Einstein. They laughed at the Wright Brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown."

Something tells me I'm not dealing with Einstein and the Wright bros.

  35. dfhdh   17 years ago

Yeah, they will include Blacks, Hispanics, Catholics, Muslims in their little skit.

They still don't have the balls to personally go out in the street and bully any of those people like they bully Mormons.

  36. VM   17 years ago

"Unfortunately for you, an overwhelming majority of the country has already decided that you are the silly asshole and waste of air, and has, quite appropriately, decided to ignore you."

c'mon. they've known that for years. like since the 80s. hell - I think I'm a waste of air.

jeez. at least the Einstein and Bozo was somewhat original. The Weibskobold, however, shall withhold her cookies, nonetheless.

  37. amen bro\'   17 years ago

"Repeat after me: Except for one or two Tenacious D songs, Jack Black is not, never has been, and never will be funny."

Truer words have rarely been spoken.

  38. jeff   17 years ago

The Musical....nice music, lousy message. These thesbians are pretty clueless about what th Bible says. And they come off as the so-called social elite of our country.
