Cop Out
Police officers in Massachusetts earn up to $40 an hour directing traffic at highway work sites. Naturally, they are upset that new state rules allow civilian flaggers at many highway construction sites. So cops—one can only hope they were at least off duty—have been showing up at work sites jeering the flaggers, trying to distract them, and impeding work on those projects.
