    Re-runs

  2. Naga Sadow   17 years ago

Throw in another episode of "Pimp my Walker" and maybe I'll watch these as well.

  3. SugarFree   17 years ago

    SIV,

It's playoff season. What you you expect?

  4. The_Chef   17 years ago

The Pyongyang version wasn't playing yesterday, now that I can actually see it today ... HOLY SHIT! Creepy as fuck!

  5. Nacho Libre   17 years ago

This is more fun than the political ads.

  6. Episiarch   17 years ago

    Joke handle arrghhhh

  7. Warren   17 years ago

Don't vote has the most teeth in that it actually makes a legitimate point.

I like Obama Kids best. Obama is not even in the same tectonic plate as Kim Jong-il. But the indoctrinate-the-children is genuine creepy.

The other two are just dumb. Maybe good for a giggle for some (not me). But they're just two more YouTube videos. Of the thousands (x10? x100?) of election related YouTubes, I don't know why Reason saw fit to show us these. And they get more annoying every time they show up at the top of H&R.

  8. The Wine Commonsewer   17 years ago

Nacho, you are right, that is more fun. And I don't normally go in for that stuff.

  9. Orange Line Special   17 years ago

Those videos above are meant to be watched by you. Here's the political video that Reason staffers watch, in some cases several times a day.

  10. Gavin Liberty   17 years ago

Here's another "commercial". It uses the Bob Barr appearance in Borat as a metaphor for the current state of our government.

  11. lunchstealer   17 years ago

So is Whitaker a foreigner because he played Idi Amin, or because he's from Longview, Texas? I mean, they keep going on about how Texas is a whole other country, so maybe that does mean that Texans have a foreigner taint about them.

Also, if they're going to get a bunch of foreigners doing their music, couldn't they have just gotten Foreigner? Who could stop Obama if he commanded the power of Foreigner? Just don't get confused and accidentally book Loverboy. That just won't work.

PS - Holy Crap, Ian McDonald, left King Crimson to co-found Foreigner. That means that Foreigner has one degree of Bill Bruford, making them a prog band. Who knew?

  12. Kant feel Pietzsche   17 years ago

    GREEEEEENMAAAANNN!!

  13. economist   17 years ago

The parents of the kids in the Obama video shouldn't be surprised if their kids come back when they're adults and strangle them in their sleep.

  14. economist   17 years ago

The original "Don't Vote" ad, from which the reason version was constructed, was actually a Get Out the Vote ad. A very stupid, very annoying, Get Out the Vote ad. I personally never tell people that it's their "right" to vote. It's kind of like telling a 3-year-old that it's okay to piss in the swimming pool.

  15. Orange Line Special   17 years ago

Here's a video I watch every day before getting dressed.

  16. The Wine Commonsewer   17 years ago

    LOL

  17. JMR   17 years ago

Gavin, the Bob Barr & Borat thing is hilarious. WAY too damn funny to be used, though...
