Get Off the Train
Amtrak officials put four children, ages 12 to 15, off a train one night in Kingman, Arizona, 600 miles from their homes in Taos, New Mexico. A police report says one of the children, a 13-year-old boy, was accused of stealing a cell phone. Another was accused of stealing an iPod. But no charges were filed against any of the children. An Amtrak spokeswoman says the four "weren't just put off in the middle of nowhere, mind you. They were put off in the custody of the police department."
