A storm toppled a tree onto Tom and Elizabeth Koukodimos's car in Toronto. They couldn't move the tree, and they certainly couldn't move the car, though city law forbids people from parking on the street after midnight. So they called the government city to have a crew come remove the tree. They had to wait for that crew to come, but parking officials came by much more quickly to ticket the car for being illegally parked.
