Too Much Patriotism
Raleigh, North Carolina, officials have ordered several store owners to take down American flags flying at their businesses. City code says no more than three flags can fly at a store. But David Brown has seven flags flying at the Fiddle Stix he manages, and Kevin Powell has 10 at his Martin Auto Haus. Store owners say they were told the crackdown on the flags, which in some cases have flown for years, is part of a beautification effort.
