He's No Barney Oldfield
Cabbie Tom Matthews was driving a lady home early one morning in Newport, England, when a speed camera apparently snapped a photo of his 12-year-old cab. He later got a notice of a £70 fine and three points on his driving record. The notice said he'd exceeded the 30 mile per hour speed limit, by about 390 miles per hour. "I drive an old Cavalier - not a jumbo jet. According to this, I've broken the land speed record," he said. Matthews says he will fight the ticket.
