Anti-Union Ideologue Exposed!
The all-seeing eyes of Infoshop News are on to Shawn Macomber, a mere four days after he wrote about his infiltration of an Industrial Workers of the World meeting for Reason.
He wrote about what he learned at Reason Online, a right-wing journal. Macomber is a fellow at the far-right Phillips Foundation- a group controlled by notorious conservative publisher Tom Phillips. The precision of the quotations in the article strongly suggest he used a recording device throughout the operation
If anyone sees black-clad shock troops beating a path to Macomber's door, give him a head's up.

Is this really a right wing journal?
Wow, nice to see that pro-union wackos respect copyright. I'd sue.
Welcome to the vast right wing conspiracy
David,
Libertarians don't really live on the traditional political spectrum.
It was meant to be silly, PL. I always smirk when the left/right wings declare libertarians to be on the other side.
Phileleutherus Lipsiensis,
That's right. We live above it.

David,
That's cool. 🙂
If we are neither right wing nor left wing, are we the fuselage?
I just wanted to say fuselage
Politics isn't an airplane, it's a turkey.
And we're the effin gizzard.
"Working Class better get out the way of my car," a young black man in a tricked out Honda Civic retorted as his light turned green.
I think I'm going to get one of those pepper spray canisters designed to fight off bears that shoots 20 or 30 feet so I can clear away street protestors when I'm driving around town.
We're more like the taint of politics.
Taint the asses, taint the pussies.
TPG,
If I didn't know better, I'd say that was a thinly veiled jibe at Mark Foley.
"Moments later a Killer Coke handbill?"Murder...It's the Real Thing"?was thrust into my hand."
And why has this flyer not been scanned and uploaded for my enjoyment?
Commie agitprop is always good for a chuckle.

Try killercoke.org.
Thanks for the link grylliade. It says that they'll send me literature if I tell them where I live and what my skills are. I didn't see a way to indicate bowstaff, though.
killercoke has a page the purportedly lists Coke's crimes. Here is an example of one of Coke's crimes:
COKE CAN'T HIDE ITS CRIMES IN COLOMBIA
Isidro Segundo Gil, an employee at a Coca-Cola bottling plant in Colombia, was killed at his workplace by paramilitary thugs. His children, now living in hiding with relatives, understand all too well why their homeland is known as "a country where union work is like carrying a tombstone on your back."
I have read this 7 or 8 times. I am fairly certain that they are not actually accusing Coke of a crime.
(And, I'd bet that carrying tombstones on your back is already a union job.)
highnumber,
They are actually accusing Coke of hiring paramilitaries to execute union leadership to destroy the union. From the link...
"... assert that the Coke bottlers 'contracted with or otherwise directed paramilitary security forces that utilized extreme violence and murdered, tortured, unlawfully detained or otherwise silenced trade union leaders.'"
I dunno, but hiring a hitman to murder somebody is illegal here. I suppose it might not be a crime in Columbia though.
I love how they use paypal. 🙂
They forgot to implicate Shawn Macomber as a CIA operative. But, then again, that would be sooo sixties... These are the left-wing wacko's of the New Millennium(tm). So he probably works for Homeland Security.
I was hoping it would be another anti corn syrup site.
He wrote about what he learned at Reason Online, a right-wing journal.
I guess if you're far enough left, everything else is right.
The precision of the quotations in the article strongly suggest he used a recording device throughout the operation
Are they ashamed of what they shout in public, or would they rather he get the wording wrong? I personally won't let any newsperson interview me unless at least one of us is recording.
A couple weeks ago there was a Hit & Run thread about how most libertarians seen to have evolved from left-wing lower life forms. Maybe some Infoshop News readers will be inspired to scan the Reason Website and question some of their beliefs.
I dunno, but hiring a hitman to murder somebody is illegal here. I suppose it might not be a crime in Columbia though.
I did not have the patience to read much more than the most prominent story on the page listing Coke's crimes.
Are Coke's bottlers independent in other countries like they are in the US?
highnumber,
That's what I would guess since in there somewhere was something about the bottling plant actually being owned by a US company.
As for the orignal topic. I can't believe they deleted my comment for calling a statist pig, well, a statist pig.
right-wing journal
This place did take a sharp turn to the right after hippie-editor Virginia Postrel left and the current coterie of top-hat-wearing robber barons took over. I'm canceling my subscription!
Stevo,
Where can I get my tophat, and does it can I get a couple of money bags with "$$" on them thrown in?
"I can't believe they deleted my comment for calling a statist pig, well, a statist pig."
I can.
A statist is a statist is a statist is a statist.
Also, put me down for a top hat and a monocle.
I want a cane sword with my top hat, so I can stab kittens and grandmothers.
I want a cane sword with my top hat, so I can stab kittens and grandmothers.
But you also have to have one of those gigantic gigantic silver-white mustaches plutocrats wore in old Peter Arno cartoons.
The sword-cane is a good idea, but what I really want is a telescoping hiking staff with the sword in one end and a camera lug on the other.
...turn to the right after hippie-editor Virginia Postrel left
Considering Doherty's devotion to Burning Man (which I happen to share) and Sullum's jihad against the War on Rights (er damn, I mean Drugs, the War on Drugs), not all things hippie were purged, nor did Reason become redundant to National Review.
Juris -- I'm being just a little bit sarcastic. 😉
Stevo, as was I, although you'd have to be a burner for the hippie allusion there. The WoD reference should've been obvious.
