Imagine Having Munchies with Four Stomachs

Obvious:

Five Romanian farmers are being investigated after police discovered they were feeding their cows cannabis. The farmers from Romanesti in Botosani county, told officers the drug helped the cows produce more milk.

The farmer aged between 57 and 82, claim they didn't know they were doing something illegal by growing the drug in their field. Farmer Ion Astarastoaie said: "We grew it because the cows seemed to like it, and happy cows give more milk."

Police were alerted to the problem when a neighboring farmer reported seeing the cows giggling uncontrollably at something that wasn't really that funny.

  1. So now we all see how gonzalez v raich is interstate commerce, right?

  2. They’re lucky they aren’t living in the U.S. The farmers would have SWAT teams with flash-bang grenades kick in their doors in the middle of the night, and hold them at gunpoint while officers ran to the barn and shot all the cows for “safety” reasons. Then the farmers would be hauled off to federal PMITA prison for manufacture with intent to distribute.

  3. I guess it’s true. Great cheese really does come from happy cows.

Happy cows come from whacky weed.

  4. Dude, what was I JUST moo-ing about?

  5. Those clever Romanian neo-capitalists in Botosani county. Just trying to make a extra Romania Leus ($$). Happy cows make properous farmers. Did they feed them the “weed” in brownies? Sounds like it could be some of my Romanian relatives in the Old County.

  6. I wonder if any of the psychoactive properties of the wacky-tobacky show up in the milk? I remember, from my youth, several days of onion-flavored milk every time the dairy cows got into a patch of wild onions.

  7. I can’t wait to see the new California Cheese spots. Maybe they’ll introduce a new Mendocino cow to the herd, who is inexplicably happier than the rest.

    Dude!

  8. Is there going to be a new minimum mandatory escalation clause for selling drugs within 100 feet of a diary now? It is bad enough that these scumbag dealers sell to our children, but to our defenseless bovines? That is just going too far.

  9. This one tastes like the cow got loose in a patch of weed…

  10. while officers ran to the barn and shot all the cows for “safety” reasons

    shouting “…and I’m the lawnmower!”

  11. Nothing like twice-baked hamburger.

  12. We have a few people here in Florida who would say that this sends a wrong message to calves that cannabis consumption is Okey-Dokey.

  13. We have a few people here in Florida who would say that this sends a wrong message to calves that cannabis consumption is Okey-Dokey.

    Move the cows to Denver!

    (and, hi!)

  14. Can they sell their THC-infused steaks as cannabeef?

Also, I’m picturing a herd of cows lowing to each other:

“Doooooooooooood.” “DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.” “Dooooooood.” “Dooooooooooooooooooood.” “DOOOOOOOOD.” “Doooooooood…”

  15. They can’t have cows eating “weed”!!! Everyone knows that weed is a gateway drug. Next thing you know cows will be shooting up heroin in the alleys of our fair cities and hijacking chocolate milk trucks!!!!
