Bold As Copper
Glenn Reynolds is awaiting the arrival of a new book.
IN THE MAIL: Jennifer Weber's Copperheads: The Rise and Fall of Lincoln's Opponents in the North. Seems very interesting and relevant.
Indeed; on the news of a new report suggesting, for the umpteenth time, that the war in Iraq has given a steroid boost to Islamic terrorism, it's worth asking whether today's Republicans are playing the role of Copperheads and weakening our fight against the enemy.
Unless… wait, do you think Reynolds was talking about the Democrats?
