Neftaly Cruz said he heard a commotion outside his backdoor. He went outside and found the street lined with Philadelphia police cars. The police were arresting someone for allegedly dealing drugs. While still standing on his own property, Cruz says, he took a photograph of the scene with his cell phone. That's when a police officer came through his gate, handcuffed Cruz and took him to jail. "They threatened to charge me with conspiracy, impeding an investigation, obstruction of an investigation. ? They said, 'You were impeding this investigation.' (I asked,) "By doing what?' (The officer said,) 'By taking a picture of the police officers with a camera phone," Cruz told a local TV station. Cruz was later released.
