… And I Approve This Message
From a hard-fought Connecticut AFL-CIO meeting on which candidate to endorse - Sen. Joe Lieberman or Ned Lamont - comes the angriest endorsement of a candidate, ever.
"I would hope that after this is over, that we can get Joe Lieberman - all of us, even for the ones that get along greatly with Joe - and to beat the shit out of him."
The union endorsed Lieberman.

Second.
Ahh, a lust for blood. That is what makes for good politics.
The union endorsed Lieberman.
Only for the primary though...they said they will pull that endorsement if he runs as an indy.
This is gonna be quite a race...
Lamont is has momentum and is gaining on Lieberman among primary voters -- and I have seen polls that say that if Lieberman does decide to run as an indy he will have a heck of a time in a 3-way race.
Chicago Tom,
Who doesn't have a heck-of-a-time in a three way?
Maybe they will find Joe buried under the end zone at Giant's stadium.
Maybe they will find Joe buried under the end zone at Giant's stadium.
If the unions are involved, I'd say a Hoffa is more likely.
"Maybe they will find Joe buried under the end zone at Giant's stadium"
If Bush said, "Joe, I think you should be buried under the end zone at Giants Stadium", Lieberman would bury himself there.
Who doesn't have a heck-of-a-time in a three way?
hehe...I really should have seen that coming...

I thought this was form of union discipline was reserved for members only.
Lieberman is a big spending liberal and a war hawk. If there's a worse senator, I don't know who it would be.
Hell, if it's a guy and two girls, often it's the guy who gets left out in the cold as the two chicks get into each other.
Not that you still don't have a heckuva time, but I'm just sayin'...
Wow. That leaves me with two questions, however -
First, how does Lamont feel about now, coming second to a guy they dislike so much that they're going to beat the shit out of him later?
Second, can a candidate decline an endorsement? (And would that enable Lieberman to escape his well-deserved hiding?)

No, scabs get it too. And at one time any Japanese cars that got brought on the job.
hehe...I really should have seen that coming...
It's okay, you probably had your eyes closed.
You guys can beat the shit out of Lieberman if you want. Me, I want to slap Schumer upside the head. And slap Santorum as well.
I just realized how that previous sentence sounds. Sorry.
Uh huh, reveling in thoughts of violence against a public official. Sounds like a terrorist cell...
Dept. of H.S.

Yeah, try saying it three times fast.
