Tricia and Jeff James say Orange County, California, firefighters took their time battling a blaze at their home after they discovered Jeff is a firefighter in a non-union fire department in a Los Angeles suburb. Tricia James said one fire department official asked "Who's the scab?" after noticing stickers for her husband's fire department on vehicles parked in the driveway. The official report does not indicate any delays or problems in fighting the fire, which the James say destroyed their home. Officials are investigating their complaint.
