No Cuddling Allowed
Faith Miller readily admits that she likes to snuggle next to her husband when he drives. But Sheriff's Deputy Darren Broome apparently isn't as romantic. He stopped the Willamina, Oregon, couple and gave Faith a warning for not using the passenger's shoulder harness. Several months later, he stopped them again. This time, he gave her a ticket. But when Miller looked into Oregon seatbelt laws, she found there was no requirement that adults use the shoulder harness. She contacted the sheriff's office, and Lt. Paul May found she was right and agreed to void the ticket.
