Choose Choice for a Rainy Weekend (Reason Subscription Pitch)

|

It's raining in Washington, DC, right now and what better what to while away the time than by buying a copy of Choice: The Best of Reason?

This popular and acclaimed collection of the past decade's worth of highlights from the magazine of "Free Minds and Free Markets" costs just $10.47 at Amazon (paperback).

Better yet, bundle the book with a new or renewed subscription to the print edition of Reason, winner of the 2005 Western Publications Association "Maggie" award for best political and social issues mag. If you do that, you can get Choice for half-off!

Go here for details on these and other offers.

Some praise for Choice and Reason:

Reason is less predictable and more interesting than any other political magazine I read–Glenn Reynolds, Instapundit.com

Reason is a brilliant magazine, written and edited by brilliant people. And I am not saying that only because they agree with me.–Dave Barry

Reason is an oasis of sharp writing and sensible political discourse in a time dominated by I-know-you-are-but-what-am-I-manship, a respite for those who are weary of the reactionary pod-people screams emanating from both the left and the right.–Joe Garden, The Onion

  1. Yeah, what they said. And the pictures on the front are so funny. The pictures on the back are nice because everyone’s so happy. Last week when I was waiting in the plastic surgeon’s office for my nose-job appointment, I took my free issue of Reason along so I could look at those great pictures.

  2. Though it did mean I didn’t have to wait in line for anything at the Sakura Matsuri.

  3. Tymoshenko has many neo-fascist connections. The notoriois ant-Semite Levko Lukyanenko is one of her associates. “Pro-western” isn’t all it’s cramked up to be.

Thus proving Glenn Reynolds’ point above.

  5. I was going to subscribe until I read that blurb from that AV Club/Union-hack… The 2004 election finally cured comedy, it seems. As one of the few and brave LP registrants in your HQ city I believe I deserve a free subscription for a few months, at least until I move away from this heap soon. Why can’t you get the book into some stores around here? Or at least give a Powells link for the anti-Bezos among us.

  6. I just LOVE watching Reason Jack-off!
