Raelians Offer Disgraced Korean Stem Cell Researcher A Job
The Raelian UFO cult (uh, religious group) has offered disgraced Korean stem cell researcher Hwang Woo Suk a job with their cloning company Clonaid. The Korea Herald reports,
"We at Clonaid, believe that Dr. Hwang has cloned human embryos and has the knowledge to develop stem cell lines," announced Clonaid on its website, www.clonaid.com.
It continued to say that Hwang "has been discredited as he wasn't in line with what the political and religious powers of this world wanted regarding the cloning technology."
Not to mention that Hwang was actually discredited because he made up his data. In any case, I don't know why the Raelians need Hwang since they claim to have cloned several people already.

OH YEAH!
OH YEAH!
OH YEAH!
Will U2 be performing at this year's Clonaid concert?
well, Ron, cloning is still a labor-intensive protocol. maybe they just want the extra man power from someone who is already trained
Does the State Dept. have a plan drawn up to deal with a Raelian uber-zombie army of clones?
Maybe he should join the Tyrell Corporation.
"Claim" to have cloned several people? I guess we can add Ron's name to the list of conspirators to keeping the Raelians down.
The Raelians made up data and nobody believed them; Hwang made up data and everybody believed him (including, apparently, still, the Raelians themselves). Clearly, they offered him a job because they need help making up more credible data. He's *still* more credible than they are.
Maybe he should join the Tyrell Corporation.
Nah, there's just no future getting your head crushed by Rutger Hauer.
Does he know about the nude get-togethers in Quebec? It gets pretty cold up there.
The Raelians should also know Ken Lay is available for the CEO job, and Jayson Blair might be persuaded to write the company newsletter.
