Over or Under?
No doubt at this stage few if any readers much care whether Rafik Hariri was killed by a truck bomb or an underground bomb last Feb 14. Still, for the record, and as someone who repeatedly suggested that it was an underground bomb (and cited the family as believing there were two bombs--one underground and one above ground with a highly flammable chemical agent), I offer here the latest twist: Hariri may have been killed by an underground bomb after all--at least that's what UN investigators are now saying.

Cue spittle-flecked post from Justin Raimondo . . .
When I clicked the link, I expected to find something about UN investigators and how an underground bomb killed Hariri. ...but the linked article doesn't seem to say anything about that.
...Perhaps the article changed after Mr. Young's post? ...Maybe I'm missing something?
Ken, you need to click a link on the linked page to reach the story:
A U.N. mission investigating ex-Premier Hariri's assassination in Beirut may conclude that his motorcade was devastated Feb. 14 by a massive underground bomb rather than an above the ground terrorist bombing operation, Hariri's Al Mustaqbal newspaper said on Tuesday. . .
I think they "retire" the story to the sideline when a newer story comes along.
The link is fixed.
Thanks for fixing the link.
...and spittle-flecked or no, I look forward to reading Raimondo's response.
I look forward to reading Raimondo's response.
It ain't coming fast, which is unusual. Funny, haven't seen joe pipe in on this one, despite his nasties aimed at M. Young on this particular topic . . .
