Perhaps There's More, Hiding Behind the Green Door

While Mark Felt formally accepts the title of Deep Throat, Edward Jay Epstein is sticking with the thesis that DT was a composite character. He makes some good points—to the extent that I ever favored a Deep Throat theory, I leaned towards that one—but he'd be more convincing if he'd take advantage of this new development, call up Felt, and ask him about the apparent anomalies, rather than merely repeating what we already know, or think we know.

The next mystery: Did Felt inform on Nixon willingly, or was he coerced by Chuck Traynor? Some say that if you watch All the President's Men really carefully, you can see his bruises.
