My local daily would never begin an article with the phrase, "The strange case of the homosexual necrophiliac duck."

Not even the New York Post?

    "When Wild Animals Go Wilding."

Sounds like these ducks must watch an awful lot of porn.

  4. Number 6   21 years ago

If I had the story, I would not hesitate to write that lede.

My editor may not see the humor, though.

  5. MikeG   21 years ago

Somewhere, someone is masturbating to this article.

  6. Twba   21 years ago

Jeffrey Dahmer has been reincarnated as a duck.

  7. Hysterical Right   21 years ago

Homosexuality does not exist in animals! It runs counter to biological programming and/or God's will! Only deviant humans are capable of *choosing* sick sexual practices! La! La! La! I can't hear you!

  8. Stevo Darkly   21 years ago

Actually, Hysterical, we've known about gay seagulls for decades.

Oops, wrong link! And slanderous, too, as far as I know -- that's just the way hip musicians looked in the 'Eighties.

Time magazine article about gay seagulls. Lesbian, to be specific. That's right -- "hot lesbo gull-on-gull action!"

Oh, crap! Now my Fly United poster is rape-porn.
