Mike Hayes got angry when traffic wardens kept ticketing customers outside his chips stand in an outdoor market in Oldham, England. He got even angrier when he saw those same wardens ignoring flagrant parking violations by official vehicles. So he put up a sign saying he wouldn't serve traffic enforcers. The city council responded by threatening to kick him out of the market unless he takes down the sign and serves everyone.
