Stripped of His Rights
When his Ypsilanti, Michigan neighborhood was evacuated because of a gas leak, Dennis Barger turned a surveillance camera on. It captured firefighters and police officers rifling through boxes and shelves, going through photo albums and taking some of Barger's personal belongings. Police say they didn't have a warrant, but they did call a superior before searching the home. They say they conducted the search because they saw a stripper's pole and women's clothing in the basement.
