Ryan Sager points out some shifty rhetoric about charter schools from the American Federation of Teachers, and makes the case that bad charter schools going out of business is actually a good thing. I made a similar point a while back, here.

A column on the editorial page of today's Wall St Journal is on this subject and in this vein.
I didn't read the article, but I noticed the report from the AFT was front page news on the NY Times, up hight in the right hand corner.
Or maybe I didn't notice that. Some other paper, early morning, I should check my sources before I rush into print.
