Children Of The DNC
The most aggressive reporters at the DNC aren't bloggers or talk radio staff or Fox News commandos. Most aggressive are the kids from The Daytime, a newspaper published monthly at Frank Ashley Day Middle School.
Yesterday I watched them swarm Dick Gephardt outside FleetCenter as the former candidate tried to leave. He didn't stand a chance. The children ran at him from several directions, blindsiding Gephardt's security detail and pinning the Democrat against a tiny human wall of their own creation.
I tried to interview these microjournalists afterwards, but they expertly turned the tables and began interviewing me. Then they vanished into a nearby cornfield …
