The Drug Policy Alliance's Baylen Linnekin and Dave Borden of the Drug Reform Coordination Network analyze the references to the war on drugs in the 9/11 commission's report. Not surprisingly, both find evidence of misplaced priorities.

  1. Q: Will there be a terrorist attack come the November election?

    A: Yes, there are several pro-marijuana initiatives around the country on the November ballot requiring much of the government’s resources to campaign against them.

    (Moral of the Post: You may not be able to protect Americans from foreign threats but you can always protect them from themselves.)
