Courtesy of the Syrian regime (whose young sovereign nevertheless prides himself on once having been the president of the Syrian Computer Society), there are no Syrian bloggers that I know of. But all is not lost: Joshua Landis of the University of Oklahoma is trying to fill the vacuum.

Thank you Michael, it's nice that someone at REASON actually gives a flying fuck about the freedoms of people who aren't lucky enough to live in the United States.
I should be fair -- there are actually SEVERAL writers at REASON who give a damn about people cursed to have been born in tyrannical hellholes. And two of them share the same last name.
