Remember The Memory Hole
The Memory Hole--dedicated to "rescuing knowledge" and "freeing information" is one of the most fascinating, and relatively underappreciated, sites on the Web.
Think of it as The Smoking Gun for shit that really matters (and that's not meant to disrespect TSG, which is great). Edited by Russ Kick, The Memory Hole posts all kind of stuff that gets pulled off official Web sites or disappears for other reasons (neglect, legal action, etc).
Recent posts include links to the mortuary procedures for dead soldiers returned to Dover Air Force Base, inventories of George W. Bush's gubernatorial papers, and 20 images from the CIA museum "we're not allowed to visit."

Yup... Awesome site. I even donated $10 the other day to help keep it going. You should too.

He's edited a few very interesting works. Check out http://www.disinfo.com for more info. No, I have no financial or professional interest in the site; they just put out thought-provoking stuff. Mostly fantasy, but fun to read at least.
Interesting to me is what I don't see there, which is U.S. Patent 3060165 -- Preparation of toxic ricin.
This patent was recently taken offline by the U.S. Patent Office.

It's gone.... gone gone gone.... where has it gone? Why has it gone? Who made it go? Found video of Bush on 9-11 on a mirror site. Fascinating. For five minutes he sat listening to kids read badly as a teacher spanks a book with a riding crop.

College football is a game which would be much more interesting if the faculty
played instead of the students, and even more interesting if the trustees
played. There would be a great increase in broken arms, legs, and necks,
and simultaneously an appreciable diminution in the loss to humanity.
