Edwards Out
It's being reported that John Edwards will quit the race tomorrow, after a not-so-super Tuesday.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Ummm.... does that mean that I don't get to vote for President AGAIN this year?
After he said he was in the campaign for the long haul? How can it be? Are politicians not men of their words? Of course they are. It's just a matter of whatever word is spoken last.
Gosh darnit, and he was so CUTE!
So who becomes the Democratic nominee when Kerry is photographed sodomizing an intern with a cigar on the deck of the "Monkey Business"?
Are you kidding? What could possibly do more to win over the "swinger voters?" I keep hearing about how important they are.

Now at last we can get down to the issues, instead of blather about Kerry's "electability".
Johnny, we hardly knew ya.
Let's keep it that way.
What are you talking about? Half the battle for some of these candidates is to somehow convince the electorate that the candidate isn't going to be in totally over his head when he plants his can in the Oval Office. Reagan convinced them, McGovern didn't. There's probably other good examples, but the question of whether or not Kerry is even electable isn't necessarily just horse race stuff.
I wonder if he is still an optimist ...
Overall, it's a good thing. This country will really be on its last legs when we elect a trial lawyer president.
No comments about "Dear John" letters? =D
