For those with well-appointed satellite dish setups: I'll be appearing on the Al-Arabiyah network in half an hour (12:30 pm Pacific, which I think is 10:30 or 11:30 UAE) to discuss the role of money in the Democratic primaries. (Don't ask me: They called with the topic.)

the role of money in the Democratic primaries

Everyone wants it, everyone needs it, but not everyone makes the same use of it.

Was there static on the line?

Maybe they said the topic was "the role of Zionist money in the Democratic primaries"...

It was a completely straightforward interview, but hey, don't let that stop you from posting your anti-semitic drivel.

A swing and a miss! Tim, you sure missed the boat on interpreting the previous poster's comment. He wasn't being anti-semitic at all, rather lampooning the Arabic press, which is notorious for seeing Jews lurking in every shadow.

I got the joke the first time. Making a gratuitous comment about Jews with the actual purpose of insulting Arabs vs. just making a gratuitous comment about Jews-that strikes me as a distinction without a difference. There are certainly enough bad examples from the Arabic press without witlessly making them up. More and more, I wonder if there's any actual difference between anti-Semites and anti-anti-Semites: They both seem incapable of going more than 10 seconds without bringing The Jews into any conversation.
